This review is going to compare Bosch vs. Samsung washing machines across the board, including all types and many models.
Our Verdict
Bosch vs Samsung, both have some great ones and some not so great ones.
Looking at the scores alone, Samsung has a higher score average than Bosch. The Samsung 9kg AI EcoBubble and Bosch 9kg AI Active Water Plus are the top performers from each brand.
But Samsung machines cost more to get the same performance as a Bosch machine. If Samsung’s AI and app-based controls aren’t important to you, Bosch will probably be the better overall deal.

Price: Bosch machines are cheaper on average. Samsung average price of a 8kg is ₹34,990 and that of Bosch is ₹34,000.
Energy Efficiency: both are rated 5 stars with Samsung slightly below on energy consumption 0.05 KWh/kg/cycle.
Spin Speed: Samsung demonstrated the maximum rotary velocity, which is 9 KG models reaching 1400 RPM, and Bosch is 1200-1400 RPM.
Noise Levels: During washing Bosch is lower at 54 dB and Samsung is at 58 dB.

Bosch and Samsung Washers – A Quick Comparison
Both Bosch and Samsung have a huge model lineup, so much so that it can be hard to know what washing machine is really best. We’ve tested 20 different Bosch & Samsung models and can help you determine the best model for you.
The list below are the best Bosch vs. Samsung washing machines across the entire model lineup.
Top Bosch Washing Machines
If you simply want the best of the best (regardless of price) that Bosch and Samsung have to offer, here is how we break it down.
For Bosch, the current best washing machine is the Bosch WGA1420TIN 9kg Front Load. It’s a step above the previous Bosch models and is closely followed-up by the Bosch WAJ28260IN 8kg variant.
The Bosch WGA1420TIN is easily one of the best front loads we’ve tested to date. In terms of raw performance it features 14 wash programs, has excellent energy efficiency with 5-star rating, and useful technologies that aid in cleaning throughout the home. What’s more it handled tough stains and bacteria with ease, thanks to Steam Anti-Bacteria technology and Anti-Stain features that remove stubborn marks.
Released alongside the 9kg model, the WAJ28260IN 8kg is another powerful variant of the Bosch lineup.
While it may be 8kg capacity, it isn’t lacking in features. It had solid performance with 15 wash programs, beating the average with its 1400 RPM spin speed. It can handle delicate fabrics without damage and uses AI Active Water Plus to automatically regulate water levels based on the current load size and fabric type the machine is engaged with.
Top Samsung Washing Machines
For Samsung, the best washing machine is Samsung WW90DG5U24AXTL 9kg Front Load with the WW80T504DAX1TL and WW70R22EK0X as alternative front load options. If you are looking for a Samsung top load, you can’t beat the performance of the flagship Samsung WA80BG4441BGTL.
The Samsung WW90DG5U24AXTL is objectively the most advanced front load washing machine ever built. It has 1400 RPM spin speed and ran with only 0.05 kWh/kg/cycle in our energy analysis. AI EcoBubble technology, a SpaceMax design, and SmartThings connectivity round out the bleeding edge tech package. It is easily the most connected washing machine on the market in 2023.
While the gap has closed in, the Samsung WW90DG5U24AXTL edges out as the best washing machine between Bosch and Samsung. However, it’s also incredibly feature-rich. If you’d rather a compact alternative you can choose the 7kg model, or if you’d rather something with more programs, the 8kg model.
While it is smaller and more compact than the 9kg, the slightly less capacity is still more than enough to handle any laundry job. In addition to EcoBubble technology and included features, the compact size makes the 7kg easier to fit in smaller spaces. Furthermore, it had fantastic features in our analysis, with 12 wash programs, avoiding fabric damage, and removing stains effectively.
The Samsung WW80T504DAX1TL has many of the same features as the 9kg. It’s energy-efficient, features 21 wash programs, and has as much cleaning power as many larger machines. It’s the type of front load that can handle a large family’s diverse laundry needs for many users.
While the Samsung 7kg model is still an excellent front load, the newer 8kg and 9kg models do it all, but better and at basically competitive price points.
The Samsung WA80BG4441BGTL is a step into the top load category. In our analysis, the machine features 6 main programs plus additional cycles, largely thanks to the EcoBubble technology. In addition, it handled various fabric types well and features a Digital Inverter motor. It’s not as feature-rich as front loads, but the top-loading design is convenient for many users.

The end result is a better clean and a reduced water bill. Every Bosch washer that’s been fitted with the AI Active Water Plus technology comes with this nifty bit of kit.
Samsung AI EcoBubble
The AI EcoBubble system is thought up on similar principles – using bubbles combined with some smart AI know-how to make sure your clothes get a better clean and reduce energy usage by as much as 70%. If a Samsung washer’s got the AI EcoBubble or EcoBubble tag on it, then you know it’s got this eco-friendly tech built in.
Bosch Washer with Anti-Vibration Design

If you want a washer that won’t jump around the kitchen, then Bosch is probably the better bet. Their models with the Anti-Vibration side panel and a 3-suspension system are so stable they barely vibrate at all when they’re on the go. The following Bosch models have all got this anti-vibration capability.
The Smart Way with Samsung

Designing energy-efficient washing machines makes it so they use less energy, cut down on costs and environmental impact, and still get the job done when it comes to cleaning.

So how to Choose between Bosch vs Samsung?
To get started, you need to answer the first question: what type of washing machine do you need?
The second question to answer, what’s your budget?
If you’re seriously looking to splash out on a high-end washer – chances are you’ll be drawn to Samsung’s smart models. There are some exceptions (washer-dryers for one & a preference for German engineering) but generally speaking most Samsung smart models are going to fly in at that premium end of the market.
If you want reliability without the price-tag, Bosch is a safer bet. Now, it’s worth noting that – just like Samsung – Bosch does have their high-end models but most of them tend to focus on getting the basics right.
And thirdly, what features are you after?
There are tons of different models that might be better or worse depending on what you’re after.
